Brief view on Turkey

Since Turkey’s foundation as a Presidential Republic in 1923 by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, Turkey has become a modern country with western values and norms.

It is also called The Gateway to Europe, as the country has a unique geographic location between the East and the West. For centuries Turkey was the pathway for many communities and therefore Turkey has a magnificent past and is full of historical sites and treasures from 13 successive civilizations spanning over 10,000 years.

Even if you spend only a short time there, you can see some of Turkey's great heritage. Turkey is a country for all seasons and all ages. You can experience each of the four seasons on the same day in some parts of Turkey. During the spring months tourists bask in the glorious Mediterranean sunshine of the south, while on the lofty Taurus mountaintops behind, people are skiing.

Turkey is about three and a half times larger than the whole of the United Kingdom and mainly covered by forests, agriculture and grasslands. Turkey is surrounded by sea on three sides, the Black Sea in the north, the Mediterranean in the south and the Aegean Sea in the west. The coastline measures a staggering 7,200 kilometers!

We find, once people have bought their dream home in Turkey that they return time and time again to discover one extraordinary place after another and to enjoy the friendliness and hospitality of this extraordinary country.

Turkey is a paradise of sun, sea, mountains and lakes combined with Turkish hospitality offering a complete change from the stress and routine of everyday life.
